We decide to stay with Jesse's parents for the time being. Jesse starts making money by marketing for his friend's window washing business and at times has to help wash windows because of all the business he receives. All during this time Jesse is applying for teaching jobs in ID, UT, and CO. We receive and turn down 4 jobs. We accept one in Rexburg and I am excited and happy to live in Rexburg again. I love Idaho and the small town feel of the Burg. I'm excited to be close to my family and my sisters who will be in Rexburg. Jesse then gets an email for an opening in Palisade, CO which is 5 miles from his parents. He applies. They hire him. Now we have to make another decision. I'm frustrated that he got hired. Shame on me. We have to give them an answer very soon. Jesse then wonders if he should even teach. He wants to try many different things. I'm again frustrated that things aren't working out just fine and dandy or I guess they way that I want them. I learn to get over this and and decide to stand by and support Jesse in whatever he does. We decide to take the Palisade job for at least a year and try it out.

July 16

  • I go to Almo with the boys and spend two weeks
  • Go to my doctor appointments
  • I find out I'm having another boy!
  • Go to the Twin Falls Temple for my cousin's endowment session

July 19

  • Jesse comes to Almo and ends up working and washing windows while there so he can be with us

July 20

  • Jones family reunion at Steadman's
  • Go to Oakley for the rodeo on a fun date with Jesse.
  • Jesse and I have the opportunity to work together washing windows and doing ranch stuff.

July 26-27

  • Decide to get all of our stuff out of storage in Burley
  • Travel to UT for the Beynon reunion
  • Our back windshield shatters completely out in our recently purchased Pilot for no good reason
July 28
  • Back to CO
By the way, all this traveling is done in two vehicles because of the circumstances of hauling more stuff and lack of planning. I'm getting pretty good and handing the boys various toys, snacks and whatever to keep them happy.

July 29

Jesse starts training for his new job at Palisade High School and starts in a week. Meanwhile we are trying to get settled in Jesse's parent's basement. Coleman is now back into pull-ups and we'll have to start potty training again sometime. He has become scared of the train horn at night and wakes up crying when it goes by. It goes by 4-5 times a night. This is unusual because trains are his most favorite thing and he used to love listening to it going by. Emerson is into everything still which is a little more challenging living with someone else. Overall though, the boys have been amazing with all of the traveling and instability we've had. I am excited to move forward in the next few months and become more settled and on schedule with a good routine for us all. It's been a fun, exciting, stressful, tearful at times and crazy summer but I wouldn't trade all the growing and learning that's come from it.
