So here we go! We are jumping in to blogger world! This is definitely a learning experience and we can't promise to be consistent but we're giving it a whirl!
Our latest adventure was our trip to Almo for Mother's Day/Tyson's Farewell. My cousin Tyson Jones is being deployed for the 3rd time, but this time he is headed to Afghanistan instead of Iraq and he will be flying Black-hawks. Good luck Tyson! It was great to see him and to wish him well.
Happy Mother's Day to me! It is great and wonderful to be a mother. I have to say I love love LOVE it! I am learning so much and loving it. Coleman is a wonderful baby. He is a very happy and friendly baby. He has always been a wonderful sleeper, eater and pooper (if there is such think as a wonderful pooper). We wore him out this past weekend, or you could say his aunts, Megan and Sydney did. They always argue over who his favorite Aunt is.
Jesse and I took a little dirt bike ride with Swiss. Only having two bikes, I was the one who usually was rode behind the other...I was very sore before the ride was over. We decided to ride some mountain biking trails...we had a few crazy experiences with some unexpected snow drifts. One being Swiss and I trying to bust through one and it not working out too well. We ended up flipping head or heals with the bike into the snow while giggling our brains out. Glad there was snow to cushion us. After crying from laughing so hard, pokeys in our knees and wet, muddy pants, we finally made it back home. Jesse asked me why we don't ride more often...lets just say, he loved it.
It was great to be with family. We are always glad to get back home too though. We actually go to bed at home.
